EU project IPA 4.1.3.1.06.01.c02  "Development of ICT curricula, qualifications and program elements in primary education”

Description:
General project objective of this project was to develop ICT and cross-curricular modules of the school curriculum in primary school education by the National Framework Curriculum, using the Croatian Qualifications Framework methodology for eight subjects (Croatian language, Mathematics and Physics, History and Geography, Chemistry and Biology, and foreign language) in four grades (5th to 8th).

The project is implemented in partnership between CARNET as a beneficiary of the grant, Education and Teacher Training Agency, Open University Algebra and in cooperation with Croatian Information Technology Association and cofounded by Europian Union.

One aspect of that project was creating The Digital Content Repository, which will enable the teachers, students and schools centralized browsing of educational materials published in digital format that is also interactive. In this stage of the project, 4 subjects were picked Mathematics, physics, biology and chemistry.

My role in the project:

a member of the development team as an instructional designer  and eLearning specialist within Profil Klett digital department working on digital educational content for biology and chemistry

The most important activities of my work on the project:

• Developing courses in Articulate Storyline2,

• Working with Wordpress (CMS),

• As eLearning specialist consulting editors if needed

 

About Profil Klett:

Profil Klett is one of the biggest publishing houses of educational materials in Croatia that is part of Klett Group since 2015. It has 20 year old tradition of publishing textbooks and other educational publications within Croatia holding about 20% of all elementary School materials and about 16% of all high School materials.
