ABOUT PROJECT

The project of migration of education from classic training (ILT) to a VILT training on Moodle 1.9 platform.

 

The problems that this project solved were:

 

  1.  Education of a large number of clients,

  2.  Availability of education/courses at any time and anywhere on Earth,

  3.  Assessment and tracking of gained knowledge in real-time.

 

The project had a few phases:

Phase I.

  • Analysis of data given by helpdesk in order to see where are most problems and ask for help.

  • Based on the analysis of the number of clients that needed training, dynamic that training needed to cover and the company's capacity choose the best way and platform of delivering education

  • Develop a blueprint of training education (how many categories, training education in every category, how many courses and finally how to base training educations)

Phase II.

  • Record with the camera last ILT training and make videos suitable for delivering online

  • Update user manual and update according to courses blueprint

  • Design and develop questions depending on the wanted skills needed for passing the course

Phase III.

  • Organize LMS (Moodle) roles, courses, questions and materials according to companies needs.

  • Develop a training model that would follow companies needs

Phase IV.

  • Upload all materials (pdf, video animation, animations) and questions into LMS platform

  • Upload groups and users 

  • Develop a method of test creation and create tests depth and range

  • Develop a testing phase and threshold for passing

Phase V.

  • Test method and correct needed parameters

  • Start certifications

 

My role in the project: Lead eLearning specialist, instructional designer and project manager

 

Courses materials were Camtasia based animations, pdf and video resources, 

Traning education model was a new eLearning model called FORCED KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER model that was developed for special needs of Carpio d.o.o and its clients.

Through forced knowledge transfer model, it was possible to monitor and evaluate all participants that were in the Academy personally not as a group. In that sense, we were able to monitor the progress of implementation of informatization of a client in real-time and in that extremely shorten the time needed for implementation.

 

Duration of project: 2008. - 2012.

ABOUT
CWA

CWA is VILT education on Moodle that consists of 7 different training educations, evaluations and certifications that follow business roles within company deployed in 3 groups that follow different departments of the construction company.
 

Training educations follow AAK method enabling the company to follow each student/user individually through education and measure not only gained skills but the way they are used in a real business situation.
Training education has a duration of 4 weeks up to 9 weeks depending on the business role.

 

The CWA was used and it is still used by the company in order to implement their SW more quickly and painlessly as it's possible.
